About Our Founder

About Our Founder

Annette Oltmans founded The MEND Project in 2016.

Her personal experience of emotional abuse in her marriage, along with her extensive journey towards recovery, led her to develop the educational resources victims desperately seek to find and responders need in order to walk alongside them in a manner that is helpful and healing.
